Our winter issue usually opens in May and is sometimes themed. Check back here, our Submittable page, and/or follow our social media for updates on this submission window. 

Contributors receive two copies of the issue in which their work appears as well as a year subscription to Mississippi Review.

The Mississippi Review Prize usually opens in August. We award prizes of $1,000 in Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry. Winners and finalists make up the summer contest issue.
